During his two-day visit, Modi is laying foundation stones for various development projects.
On Monday, Modi met various top priests of various churches in the state. Prior to that, he also attended a massive road show and a youth conclave, Yuvam 2023, at the Sacred Hearts College ground.

The Kochi Metro project connects 10 islands around the city. The battery-operated electric hybrid boats will make connecting to the city easier.

"I am sure that if the increasing the speed of our trains, introducing new trains are all need Union and state governments work together with dedications, we can do wonders for the state. In the days to come let us make the development of Kerala a touchstone of cooperative federalism. I conclude by placing Kerala's gratitude to you for allocating a Vande Bharat train for us. We hope that more will follow," said Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Thiruvananthapuram. Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor, Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan and CM Pinarayi Vijayan welcomed him.
