Perry Carpenter can’t remember a time when she didn’t care about which movies were coming out, or why Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder broke up. She’s been writing about entertainment news for more than 20 years and joined the Showbiz Cheat Sheet team in 2019. Perry is also a member of the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors.

Perry can wholeheartedly claim her status as an Outlander fan and expert on our team: She started reading the books 10 years before the show started, and has reread the series each time Diana Gabaldon releases a new one. She’s also visited Scotland four times and visited a location mentioned in the books on each trip. When she’s not reveling in the latest twists and turns for Jamie and Claire, she also covers Sons of Anarchy, Marvel, and other trending TV and movies.
