The current DPIIT Secretary Anurag Jain has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways while the Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Rajesh Kumar Singh has been designated as DPIIT Secretary.
The Centre on Thursday issued an order for reshuffle of several high-level officials in the government.

Saurabh Garg, CEO of UIDAI, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Arjun Singhal, Secretary Department of Fertilizers, was appointed as DG National Archives of India while Arun Baroka, Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petro- Chemicals has been given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Fertilizers.
Alka Upadhyaya, Secretary, MoRTH has been appointed as Secretary Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy. Vidyavanthi V who was director general of Archaeological Survey of India was appointed as Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Tourism.
Rakesh Ranjan, the additional secretary of department of higher education, ministry of education, has been appointed as additional secretary of department of agriculture and farmers welfare.
Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, a 1996 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, too has been appointed as additional secretary of department of agriculture and farmers welfare.
